Tess

Tess came to us later in life, when she was nearly 5.

She is a loving girl, very gentle of nature yet with a degree of cheekiness.

She loves to play down in the field and her particular favourite game is to hunt some of the numerous wild rabbits we have here....she has never actually managed to catch one, not for the want of trying!!!

Tessa had quite a successful show career when younger, but developed a hematoma in one of her ears.
When it was treated the ear was damaged, so unfortunately she cannot bring it up fully any more.

This slight mar, makes no bearing on the way we feel about Tess. It just gives her a unique appearance.

And here at Haughmill we LOVE unique!

Tess has another unique quality to her......................

SHE BARKS LIKE SEAL!!!

It is more hound-like than a Shepherds normal sound, which confuses the rest of the Haughmill gang no end.

Just another endearing quality.
