At around 4 to 5 weeks of age we get the puppies into the
garden for a little expedition.

Butterflies, flowers, grass - EVERYTHING is fair game to them.

This outing starts to give the confidence with larger areas and as the weeks go on we take them out everyday to enjoys the
sights and sounds of Haughmill

Although we are looking for the best puppy to hopefully enter into the Show ring, it's not all serious.

The most important thing to remember is that the puppies have fun and buckets of it, so everything we do is developed around have lots and lots of enjoyment for the puppies.

Toni has had enough excitment for today!

This also gives us a great opportunity to see if our original choices still stand.

Taking all things into account not just the looks.
Movement, how quickly they settle around new experiences, structure etc.

Follow these puppies progress throughout the coming weeks ahead.

At the moment everything is concentrated around having lots of good quality food and plenty goats milk.

It is surprising what puppies can find when they are nosing around the garden.

Sometimes they find a pile of noisy leaves, a flock of birds, even a dear or two and dozens of rabbits.

However, if their luck is in for that day they may even come across an elusive 'Dominic'! Not known for being seen during the daylight hours and certainly a rarity when caught outside in the sunshine!!!!

But when they do come across him they give him a warm puppy welcome!

The three pups are growing so fast and it is wonderful to see how they are coming along.

Toni and Ged are more than happy to pose for the camera, but you gotta be quick to catch Kwik!

Ged, Toni and Kwik have now been joined by Danni from our Tess Litter.

Although 3 weeks younger, she definitely has the attitude and will soon be ruling the roost.
