Date of Birth: 15th February 2008
Cookie was the last born and weighed in at a whopping 1lb 10oz.
From the moment she was born she showed great presence.
Ruling over her litter-mates with ease.
It was obvious from very early on that she would be our "pick" of the litter.
As she grew, we were not disappointed in her
appearance or personality.
During the time we had this litter,
I sadly lost my Father,
David Cook at the grand age of 95 years old.
An absolute Gentleman.
So, this litter held great sentiment
with us here at Haughmill.
Cookie was named in honor of my Daddy.
Cookie and Carolyne have developed a relationship which surpasses anything one has seen before.
No matter where or what Cookie is involved in, if she hears or sees Carolyne then she has no interest in
anything else.
Cookie definitely has the "only has eyes for you" syndrome when is comes to her "Mum"!
Which when being shown as caused quite an uproar when she ducks from her lead and collar. Shooting across the pitch to be beside her beloved Carolyne.
This deep attraction has been really from a very early age, even in the whelping box to the indignation of the litter-mates and kennel-mates alike.
At play...............
............... At work
At rest...............
Cookie's first outing was at the Scottish Kennel Club Championship Show on Sunday 24th August 2008.
Handled admirably by Alasdair, she showed like an old pro.
Taking in all the new sites
and sounds
with tremendous ease.
Minor Puppy bitch
Judge: Mrs Pauline Cullen.
Cookie qualified for Crufts 2009
Cookie enjoys nothing better than running around our grounds here at Haughmill.
Mainly with her mates, Anna and Clyde.
Cookie is great with our two young Grandsons.
Gentle but mischievous, trying to steal TJ football at any opportunity.
She has such a pleasant and friendly, playful nature so is able to be kennelled with any one
of our dogs here at Haughmill.
Cookie is very much a water baby.
She just loves to "paddle" in her water bowl.
She also has a quaint little habit of "biting" the water instead
of lapping like a normal dog.
Given a chance Cookie would take a flying leap into one of the many pools and ponds we have here at Haughmill
'Cookie' and 'Billie' stalking 'Jack'
'Cookie' living up to her name!!!
'Cookie' is a very special girl, who we love very dearly and hope to have many, many years of devotion and plenty of fun together.
We hope that when it comes time for her to have
a litter of her own, she passes on the beautiful qualities
of her personality to her puppies.
