Born 5th January 2007

Dam: Carex Atrata
Sire: Rock and Rolls Blue Corrie

We bought in Oz from Cathy McGibbon of Fife when he was just 12 weeks old.

From the word go, it was obvious that Oz was going to be my (Carolyne) soul mate!
Following me absolutely everywhere.......................................................
EVEN into the little girls room!!!! Which can on some occasions be very off putting! Especially when he just sat there and stared intently
Oz quickly made friends with all our other Haughmill members, in particular Clyde.

Soon they were inseparable. Going everywhere together, sleeping, eating and generally annoying Georgie, who at that time was kennelled with them.

From quite an early age, Oz showed that he had great intelligence. Mastering basic commands very quickly.

Soon we had to progress to more advanced tasks just to keep him occupied. If he got bored of a project then he made sure we knew it by re-designing his kennel!!!
Oz has been a valued member of the Haughmill family.

Unusually for a Shepherd, Oz has a fantastic sense of humour. Until, Carolyne decided to get him "clipped" for the summer!!!

A Royal Marine would have been proud of his new "do"!  Oz was NOT pleased in the least. Especially when Alasdair and Dominic kept calling him "Roland Rat!"

But, like ALL bad hair cuts, it grew back in more luxurious than before and Oz has all his "bits" covered again.

Oz has proven in a short space of time that he is an intelligent, kind, funny and loyal companion.

Giving hours of pleasure down in the field or training grounds at Haughmill.

His Obedience training has surpassed all our expectations.
So we feel, that it is time to take Oz onto the next level and start his education into the wonderful sport of Schutzhund.
Now a mature adult, Oz has also proven that he can sire puppies too.

He has had 16 puppies to date, and ALL solid black. Each puppy carries his amazing temperament and movement.

Each of our Clients have all informed us that the puppies have bonded very well and are thriving. Also, all are doing quite good on the basic training.

We are allowing Oz to be used at stud for selective bitches.

Oz is first and foremost our dear friend and a great companion.

The future looks very bright and interesting for him. With many a new adventure just beyond the horizon.

Knowing Oz, as we do, he will take on any of lifes challenges and will succeed.
